Summer Art Camp

Summer Camp 2014

glaze is pleased to offer six sessions of art camp for children in grades one through eight. Each session will focus on a different art form so children can sign up for just one session or all six. Enrollment is limited so please sign up early!

Morning sessions (9 am - Noon) for children in grades one through four and afternoon sessions (1 - 4 pm) for children in grades five through eight.


The first session: $195 + tax = $211.33
The second and any additional sessions: $175 + tax = $189.66

Tie Dye - July 7, 8, 9 and 10

It’s not summer without tie-dye! Splash some color on your wardrobe and create that summer style. Children will create t-shirts, bags, and more while learning about different techniques for tie-dye!

World of Science - July 14, 15, 16 and 17

Embark on a series of science adventures! Children will become miniature scientists as they create slime, lava lamps, ice cream, and other scientific marvels!

Retro Crafts - July 21, 22, 23 and 24

What is old is new again. Relive summer camp from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s while putting your own spin on these “vintage” crafts. Projects include macramé, string art, pet rocks, leatherwork, patchwork, and more!

Animal Week - July 28, 29, 30 and 31

Take a walk on the wild side and delve into these crafts all centering around animals. Children will create masks, piñatas, bottle cap magnets, and pillows while also exploring creating art through crayon melting.

Beach Week - August 4, 5, 6, and 7

Nothing says summer like being at the beach. During this week, children will be constructing sandcastles while also creating projects such as beach bags, kites, sun catchers and sand art.

Edible Art - August 11, 12, 13, and 14

Have your cake and eat it too while experimenting with and creating different edible art forms. During this week children will engage in cupcake/cake decorating, pretzel making, gummy mold making, cake pop decorating, and more! No peanut products will be used during this week but please ask if you have any allergy concerns.
